I was walking home late last night, on the verge of falling asleep. I closed my eyes to see how many steps I could take before I lost the nerve and opened them again. I started with five, worked my way up to ten, and then wasn't able to go any further, too worried about running into things that shouldn't be there. I guess that's how people get hit by cars and killed. I should probably stop.

When I was fumbling around in the drugstore for a pair of sunglasses, I was in considerable pain and almost entirely blind. Explains why I didn't notice the pair that I was preparing to purchase were pink and covered with rhinestones. Best thing I ever did - these glasses look sick.

Over the course of yesterday, the red drained out of my eyes, and my vision returned to something resembling normal. Still, I'm uneasy when I'm outside, especially moving from shade into direct sunlight. I'm feeling something when light's hitting my eyes. Not sure if it's real or imagined. But that's how it always goes.

When I stepped outside this morning, I felt like I had been run over. My eyes, for some reason, became cripplingly photosensitive, and I stumbled from block to block with my hands over my face, with every attempt to peek out and look for oncoming cars resulting in a blinding white light and a nasty burst of pain in my head.
